R. David Syfan
 As a partner, Mr. Syfan has expertise in the areas of local government law, condemnation, commercial litigation and zoning.
Joining the firm in 1982, he currently serves as county attorney for White County and city attorney for Baldwin, Blue Ridge, Clermont, and Gillsville. As a local government law specialist, Mr. Syfan advises city and county governmental entities regarding ordinances, personnel, taxation and governmental services.
Since 1986, Mr. Syfan has served as Special Assistant Attorney General. He also sits on the Gainesville Board of Education as a Ward 1 Representative. Mr. Syfan is a member of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in political science, Mr. Syfan also is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and a member of Phi Betta Kappa.
