Paul B. Smart
 Joining the firm in 1998, Mr. Smart has expertise in transactional law, business law, corporate law, commercial and residential real estate law, local government law, creditor bankruptcy law and civil
litigation.
As a transactional attorney, he focuses on real estate, corporate and bankruptcy law within the context of a business oriented practice. Mr. Smart also has significant local government law experience with particular expertise in real estate acquisition and eminent domain law.
A partner with Hulsey Oliver & Mahar, Mr. Smart heads up the firm's technology committee. He is responsible for the acquisition, deployment and maintenance of the firm's technical assets.
A graduate of the University of Georgia , he earned his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Mr. Smart is a member of the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
Mr. Smart is a member and past director of the Gainesville Jaycees. He is a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
