Monica B. Hatfield

Monica Hatfield joined the firm as an associate in 2015, following her graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2012, earning a B.A. in both International Affairs and Spanish.  During her time in law school, she served as a Notes Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and as a member of the Student Bar Association, the Women Law Student Association and Street Law.  

She specializes in land and easement acquisition for state and local governments, including the Georgia Department of Transportation. She is a Special Assistant Attorney General of the State of Georgia.

She is a member of the Rotary Club of Gainesville and currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Rotary Interact Club.    She has served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels since 2016.  Monica is also a member of the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
